This is fandom, not a battle zone. If you're not capable of disagreeing with someone constructively (or being disagreed with), then you don't have to engage. If someone ships something you don't, you don't have to interact with them. Do not hate/bash characters or ships.
We will have to work out as a community what the exact scope of this is. News about actors' project announcements are fine; content posts (edits, fanworks, etc) for their other projects are not.
This is not the place for self-promotion; the goal here is to engage with folks. If you'd like to share links to other communities (on or off DW) that you think may be relevant to people here, please DM a mod requesting it first. Your personal social media can be linked in your own journal profile.
This includes sexual and violent content. Try to keep the main page PG-13, and let people know what they're signing up for when they click a link. Content warnings are obligatory if the link contains or discusses something in any of the following categories: major character death, racism, non-consensual sexual acts, graphic violence.
A cut is this icon in the post creation page: It spares us all endless scrolling on the main page. For huge images, please have a smaller cut/version in the main post, and the full image(s) behind the cut. Like so[example post].
New posts can generally be looked at as a chance to propose a discussion. Having multiple proposals about the same discussion is not very productive - please check the tags to see if someone has already raised the topic of that one scene in that one episode, and prefer joining in the comments if so.
In order for folks to be able to find what they're looking for, we have a variety of tags that should be used to categorize posts. Mods will be actively re/tagging posts, so it's okay if you're not sure how to tag something; just please try your best.
